HNS has added this new section to the website to provide you with important information regarding COVID-19. This section will be updated regularly with relevant news/information regarding COVID-19. As the healthcare landscape during this crisis is changing daily, we urge you to check this section of the website each day.

HNS Operations:

HNS is operating at regular hours and expects to remain open during this crisis. Should this change, this page will be updated. Should a shelter order be issued which impacts HNS' ability to operate normally, we will update this page.

 

Contracted Payors:

At this time, contracted health care plans remain in operation, although there are significant delays in their ability to respond to claim inquiries. Also, we do expect delays in the adjudication of your claims. As a result, please expect delays in HNS' response to your claim inquiries and expect delays in payments.

 

Massage Therapists:

The governor of NC has directed massage therapists to stop practice by 5 pm on Wednesday (3/25/2020). This directive includes licensed massage therapists working in chiropractic offices. As of 5 pm on 3/25/2020, massage therapists can no longer provide massage therapy to ANY patient.

 

Staff Compensation / New Law in effect 4/1/2020:

Make sure you are aware of and understand your legal responsibilities resulting from the new laws recently signed by President Trump concerning the requirements of payment of "Emergency Paid Sick Leave" and "Emergency FMLA" to your staff who may have to miss work due to illness, day care issues, etc.
