HNS Policy

Unless otherwise authorized by HNS, all participating HNS providers shall register their bank account information with HNS and accept electronic payments from HNS, via electronic funds transfer (EFT).  Upon termination from the network, for any reason, providers must continue to accept electronic fund transfers, for a period of 90 days following the effective date of termination.

For providers in group practices, EACH provider must register separately for EFT.

If you change your Tax ID (EIN), you must immediately contact HNS and submit a new EFT registration.

If you change your bank account, you must immediately contact HNS and submit a new EFT registration.

HNS utilizes electronic fund transfers (EFT) to issue payor funds to participating providers.

HNS will electronically transfer your funds (EFT) to our bank by 5pm on the day HNS issues payments (10th, 20th and 30th of each month, or next business day). HNS banks with Wells Fargo.  Wells Fargo will transfer the funds to your bank. The funds should be deposited in your bank account within two business days. HNS will send an email notification to all network providers each time we electronically transfer funds to our bank account for distribution.

NOTE: Your EFT is linked to your EIN so if you change your Tax ID (EIN), you must immediately contact HNS and submit a new EFT registration using your new username and password.

Please contact your HNS Service Representative concerning all changes within your practice.
